Custom Art Equipment

Every great designer knows that the quality of your work is only as good as the equipment you have. The first thing you are given when you enter a college or university for graphics design is an art tablet. You would be stunned at just how simple they are to use and just how much they magnify artistic talents. Even with very little experience, a tablet is full of artistic surprises, especially when used with appropriate software. Tablets cost anywhere between $60-$300 and I recommend if you have an interest in one, to select a budget that fits your skill level. You might also want to stay away from used models as they may be worn with time, losing precision, accuracy, and the fun involved in owning one. I will follow this up with a list of tablets based off my own experiences and the recommendations of colleagues.

Wireless Internet Security

I know this is off-topic but I think it's also relevent to anyone that does business online. A friend of mine visited today and he found that my wireless network was being used by one of my neighbors downstairs (yes he was even able to get their apartment number). He had me download this free program called Kitty-Litter the Anti-Sniffer, it's brand new and seems to be working really well so far.

How to make your own Clip Art with Photoshop

When it comes to the most basic graphics I think the first thing a webmaster or company in need of simple designs should ask themselves is if they are capable of doing it themselves. Doing a simple search on YouTube will provide you with a long list of videos to help teach you how to use Photoshop in only a few minutes. You can click on the following link: http://www.youtube.com/ to get started. If you don't yet have a copy of Photoshop you can download a trial version through www.adobe.com.

Stay tuned, more coming soon..
